Stylist and designer, who gained experience in the fashion world through study and working with other ateliers. She opened her own atelier in 2011, in Via Romana, Florence, a road in the heart of the Oltrarno, which connects Porta Romana with Piazza Pitti, and is filled with artists and designers. Based on the concept of deconstruction of the garment, decontextualizing it, she creates unique pieces with characteristics and identity. Her work begins with the creation of a paper pattern, then the sample is sewn by hand and the style revisited to create a unique piece. Referring to the satorial freedom of the 70s, rather than a standard, she takes inspiration from the past instead of following current fashion trends. She cuts and reassembles parts of the clothes which can highlight linings and interior parts. She also inserts accessories in a way which changes the traditional function, getting a unique and original garment.
